This is a blood calcium deficiency seen in the bitch feeding puppies. The mother cannot extract enough calcium from food or her bones to supply milk for a large litter.

This is a medical emergency - calcium supplement will make this condition worse as they depress the parathyroid glands ability to extract calcium. Bring your dog to the vet immediately
