Alocepia universalis - lack of hair over the entire body. Brachury - very short tail. Cataracts - Present at birth but may not appear until 2-3 months of age. Puppies sometimes develop cataracts but they may disappear. Other hereditary cataracts may appear up to 6 years of age. Cleft palate - defect of the midline lips and hard palate (closing defect) Cutaneous asthemia - disorder of the connective tissue of the skin causing very loose skin that tears easily. Deafness -  in one or both ears. Epilepisy - seiszures, convulsions. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) - Lack of pancreatic enzyme causing weightloss and diarrhea. Factor VII Deficiency - lack of blood clotting factor causing bleeding gums and nosebleeds. Glaucoma - eyeball pressure (usually seen after 1 year) IgA deficiency - Immune system deficiency causing respiratory, ear (otitis external) and skin infections. Lysosomal storage diseases - Brain disorder caused by key enzymes missing. Microphthalmas - abnormally small eyeglobe, may cause blindness. Nacrolepsy-Cataplexy - excessive daytime sleeping, muscle weakness, collapse. Nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia - mild anemia (abnormal red blood cells) Optic nerve hypoplasia - underdevelopment of the optic nerve in one or both eyes. Pulmonic stenosis - narrowing of the artery from hearts right ventricle to the pulmonary artery (may cause heart failure)  Pyruvate kinase deficiency - enzyme causing damage to red blood cells and anemia. Retinal dysplasia - abnormal development of the retina (may lead to blindness) Spina bifida - fusion of spinal vertebrea causing paralysis. XX sex reversal - causing  dwarfism and abnormal genital development.
