I am so happy I found this site because now I know my dogs are getting a balanced diet, prepared with TLC! I originally found the Natural Canine in search of a better diet for my 6 year old male Scottie, Chase, who had liver disease and diabetes. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his illness in August. Then I thought - if the diet was good for an ailing doggie, it would be great for my healthy 8 year old Scottie, Maxie - especially since she'd had a tumor removed this past spring. She was also overweight, and I was having no luck with weight reduction dog food formulas. In September, I converted her to this diet - she loves it and has regained her optimum weight. I haven't seen any signs of the tumor returning, but along with her daily supplements, she takes a homeopathic remedy to help prevent it's return.

In September, I brought home a new Scottie pup, Donovan. He was being fed Innova dry with canned dog food and cottage cheese. After some consideration, I decided to convert him as well, and couldn't be more pleased. He is now 7 months old, and both his breeder and his vet are extremely impressed as he is healthy, happy and looks beautiful with his thick, glossy coat, bright eyes and high energy!
I never thought I'd be doing home cooking for my dogs, but the peace of mind in knowing only natural, healthy ingredients go into their food is worth the effort. And the support I get from Michael and Marlene is a wonderful and unexpected benefit of being a part of te Natural Canine. I'm definitely a convert!!

HI Michael, An update on Kelsey -- he's doing very well!! We're so happy. I really think the gastrozyme is what's making the big difference. We just started the vitamins today -- I'm only giving them once a day. Pls let me know if that's not right. Also, I'm assuming that I'll keep him on the gastrozyme indefinitely and therefore I need to order another bottle. If there's anything else you think I should do at the moment pls let me know.
